ok...car has been running fine thru the weekend. I have a spare oem thermostat that i planned to put back in the car. I tested by dropping it in a pot of boiling water, the thermostat opens. GOOD. So i figure i should test the nismo one out, FUCK, it OPENS!!! So what now.................. water pump?

Water pump was definitely giving me the same problem with a previous SR. This time around I installed everything new before dropping it into the car. Ive driven it to Denver, Colorado and back with a bunch of upgrades and overheating has never been a problem. Hope everything works out for that jdm monster
you've replaced everything else, it wouldn't hurt...
